We're working on getting everything ready before we leave on Saturday...or Sunday. Josh keeps reminding me that we aren't on anyone's time schedule except our own. I also have to remind myself that we are not loading a covered wagon with all of the things necessary for our survival over the course of several months on the Oregon Trail out into the wilderness where there are no provisions or Wal-Marts.

Case in point, I ordered 25 lbs of rolled oats so that we would have enough to eat. Sigh. The bad news is that, now that my senses have returned, the oats regrettably cannot be. The good news is, we will easily eat through 25 lbs of rolled oats over several weeks.

Now I just have to figure where to store it.
